The Maharajah has been killed on safari. Six thousand miles away in Los Angeles, his grieving widow (Maryam d’Abo) files a five million dollar insurance claim before returning to India. She’s followed by an investigator (Rick Rossovich) who becomes infatuated with her and is drawn into a mystery that takes him from palaces to ancient temples and teeming cities.
