Los Angeles, 2057. Amidst a lawless, post-apocalyptic terrain, the beautiful Chandra (Lane Lenhart) and her ex-lover Hawkins (Robert Tossberg), a crippled soldier, share vivid psychosexual dreams. When a brilliant research scientist experiments on Hawkins, he becomes Prototype X29A (Michael Jai White), a half-man / half-machine robot. The experiment goes out of control, and Prototype X29A goes hunting for Chandra, whom he is now programmed to kill. In an explosive climax the ultimate battle commences that will determine whether mankind or machines will survive.
