Jordan received his B.A. in Film and Television Production from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2003.
In August 2005, Mattos joined the company, focusing on dramatic, foreign, animated and short titles. He has since helped build an active acquisitions division, bringing on Danielle DiGiacomo as head of documentary acquisitions in April 2006, web designer Kyle Walters in Aug. 2006, and marketing manager David Persky in May 2007.
Mattos was involved in the acquisition of Ry Russo-Young's "Marion", Tom Schiller's "Henry Miller Asleep and Awake", Lauryn Siegel's "A Triplet Affair", Lila Yomtoob's "High Life", Andy Biscontini's "Every Dog's Day", Signe Baumane's "Five Fucking Fables", Yuriy Gavrilenko's "20 Cans of Chunky Beef Soup", and Tatianna Kantorowicz's "Tree of Dreams (Arbol de los Suenos)".
In 2006 Mattos, along with partner Danielle Digiacomo, discovered Jennifer Venditti's work-in-progress "Billy the Kid" and brought it to CEO Bob Alexander's attention, marking the company's first foray into production. The film went on to win Best Documentary awards at SXSW, Edinburgh, Melbourne, and the Los Angeles International Film Festival.
Mattos most recently acquired the North American home entertainment rights to "Autumns Eyes" directed by Sundance Jury Prize winner Paola Mendoza ("On the Outs", "Padre Nuestro", "Without the King").
Jordan represents Indiepix at more than twenty film festivals a year, including Cannes, Sundance, South by Southwest, IFF Boston, Full Frame, the Hamptons, and Woodstock.
He is currently producing a compilation DVD of Iceland's best short films in conjunction with the Reyjkavik International Film Festival.
He is a noted t-shirt designer who has had works showcased in Bidoun, Ten, Paper magazine, and the New Museum of Contemporary Art Bookstore.
