Always a lover of good stories, Jason began writing poems and short stories at a very young age, and completed his first novel by the time he was thirteen. His interests moved to film and theatre in high school, and then expanded into directing during his time at Rutgers University, where he helmed critically acclaimed productions of Glengarry Glen Ross and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest for the College Avenue Players.
After his graduation from Rutgers with a double major in English and Psychology, Jason founded Rugged Multimedia, geared toward the production of marketing materials and documentaries of live events. His clients have included many non-profit and artistic organizations, such as the United Way and the Federation of East Village Artists, and his work has been featured in national magazines and broadcast on The Learning Channel.
In 2004, Jason expanded his work into film with the formation of Junction Jump, a motion picture development and production company. To date, the company has created four feature screenplays, three short films, and a feature currently in development, with partial financing in place.
Jason is proud to add his experience and vision to IndiePix's film acquisitions, where he works with Jordan and Danielle in finding the best of the world's undiscovered independent films. Check out his regular blog on the company site, (www.IndiePixFilms.com), say hello on MySpace (www.myspace.com/jtjunctionjump), or bend his ear at the next film festival. |
