Myron Castleman (Kurtwood Smith) finds himself trapped in a mysterious time loop where he must relive the same day of his life again and again. Every night at the stroke of midnight, the day starts over again. No one else around seems to be aware of Myron's predicament and try as he might, he can't escape from the cycle. Not even suicide can keep him from waking up the next morning. Day after day, Myron tries changing his behavior and trying to convince someone of his predicament and hopefully find a way out.
This film is the feature-length version of the 1990 Academy Award-nominated short film of the same name. Both films are based upon the short story by Richard A. Lupoff, written in 1973.
